HGV Class 1 Driver Kettering (Monday to Friday) Job Description: We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team in Kettering . This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position offering consistent start times, varied work, and excellent pay rates. The successful HGV Class 1 Driver will handle curtain sider and walking floor trailer work, pallet deliveries, and collections across multiple contracts including storage , biomass, and general haulage. Hours & Shifts Start Time: 06:00 Finish Time: Approx. 17:00 (average 11-hour shift) Breaks: 45 minutes (Tacho compliant) Pay Rates Monday to Friday: £15.00 per hour (PAYE) £16.81 per hour (including holiday pay) Weekend: £18.00 per hour (PAYE) £20.17 per hour (including holiday pay) The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will: Carry out curtain sider pallet deliveries and collections Deliver and collect used pallets Operate walking floor trailers for woodchip and biomass work Support recycling and general haulage operations Work with offsite storage, two new warehouse sites opening soon This is an ideal opportunity for an HGV Class 1 Driver who enjoys variety and consistent, weekday work. Requirements To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Driver position, youll need: ? A valid Class 1 (CE) licence ? Bendi or Counterbalance licence is an advantage but not necessary ? A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card ? At least 6 months Class 1 experience preferred ?
