HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead . Shifts: • Monday to Friday • 06:00 starts Rates of Pay: • Competitive hourly rate (to be confirmed) Benefits: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing, consistent work • Weekly pay • On-site canteen facilities • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: • Carry out Class 2 deliveries in the local area • Drive HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks • Ensure all loads are safe, secure, and delivered on time • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers • Report any vehicle faults or delays to management • Follow all working time and road transport regulations Essential Skills: • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements) • Good level of spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and reliability • Good understanding of UK traffic laws and safety regulations • Strong communication and customer service skills Desirable Experience: • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles • Multi-drop delivery experience beneficial Training Provided: • Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: This client values its drivers and provides a professional and supportive environment.
