About this role Dropship Account Manager – Freedom Furniture We're recruiting for two exciting positions in our high-growth dropship division: one focused on trade partnerships and another on international vendor onboarding. How This Will Transform Your Career This role is your gateway into the dynamic world of category management and e-commerce. You'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge marketplace technology (including Mirakl), develop sophisticated negotiation skills through high-stakes vendor partnerships, and master the art of balancing commercial targets with customer needs. Working directly alongside our Category Manager, you'll receive mentorship that accelerates your understanding of strategic category planning, pricing dynamics, and inventory optimisation. You'll learn to analyse performance data to drive decisions, understand what makes successful promotional campaigns tick. This experience positions you for future category management, buying, or commercial leadership roles within the retail and furniture industry. Your days will be varied and engaging: one moment you're negotiating promotional participation with a key vendor, the next you're analysing sales data to identify growth opportunities. Your key focus areas include: Nurturing strong, productive relationships with furniture suppliers and aggregators Supporting the execution of our category strategy to drive growth across your related categories Optimising product assortments that align with Freedom's brand values and customer preferences Monitoring pricing and margins to maintain our competitive edge while maximising profitability Working with suppliers and internal teams to manage inventory levels efficiently, including pre-order and made-to-order products Analysing performance metrics, sales data, and customer feedback to uncover opportunities for improvement Partnering with cross-functional teams (e-commerce, fulfilment, marketing, and buying) to deliver cohesive category initiatives What Type of Person Will Succeed You're a natural relationship builder who thrives on connection and collaboration. You communicate with clarity and confidence, whether you're presenting to internal stakeholders or negotiating with external suppliers. You're commercially minded, understanding that every decision needs to balance customer satisfaction with business profitability.
