Located in Pakenham, Victoria, with a modern workshop and a dedicated staff, they specialise in panel beating, spray painting, and mechanical repairs for all makes and models. They are seeking two (2) Panelbeaters to join their dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for assessing damage, performing structural repairs, and restoring vehicles to manufacturer standards. This position will work on a variety of vehicles, using industry-standard tools and techniques safely and efficiently. The annual salary for this position is $76,515 to $77,000 plus superannuation. Duties include: Remove damaged panels, components, upholstery, and accessories to access repair areas. Repair dents and surface damage by reshaping and hammering panels. Realign vehicle frames and body parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment. Replace extensively damaged panels with new or refurbished ones. Fill, smooth, and finish repaired areas with body filler, then filing, sanding, and polishing surfaces. Cut and weld replacement sections to restore the vehicle’s structure. Refit, repair, or install new panels and reinstall body fittings such as trims, locks, and handles. May support vehicle body builders in the restoration or customisation of vintage, classic, and specialty cars. May spray-paint vehicles to restore their finish and appearance. Perform final inspections to ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Document repair work, parts used, and time spent to support accurate job records and customer reports. Qualifications: Must have more than five (5) years of experience in a similar setting. Any formal qualifications are acceptable if the applicant has more than five (5) years of relevant experience.
