An exciting opportunity is now available for a skilled and motivated Finance Officer to join the Aged Care Finance team at BRHS on a permanent basis. Supporting our respected aged care facility, Maddocks Gardens, this role offers a fulfilling chance to play a key role in the financial management of resident care services within a well-established and reputable healthcare organisation. The Position: Ongoing, Part Time, 64.0 hours per fortnight The Aged Care Finance Officer is responsible for managing the residents care fees, accommodation fees, agreements and trust accounts where relevant. The role coordinates the requirements to keep bed occupancy at a maximum level and has responsibilities for all reporting relevant to aged care finance, both to the executives, the Department of Health & Aging and the Department of Health and Human Services. A good knowledge of finance processes and general accounting procedures with experience using computerised accounting systems. Experience using AIM is an advantage. Proven ability to perform duties with a meticulous approach to data entry, record keeping and financial processes, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and negotiation skills with ability to maintain professionalism and empathy while effectively addressing client and stakeholder needs.
