Job Description

Job Summary The role will be responsible for supporting the finance team in key operational and reporting tasks. This role will focus on managing financial data, ensuring accuracy in bank transactions, processing agent commissions, and assisting in audit-related documentation. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Job Responsibilities Import Management: Process and analyze data related to import operations to ensure compliance and accuracy. Bank Movements: Reconcile and monitor daily bank transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and aligned with company records. Agent Commissions: Calculate, validate, and process commissions for agents, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Audit Documentation: Prepare and finalize documentation required for audits related to authorized exporters. Ensure all files and records meet regulatory and internal compliance standards. Other Financial Tasks: Provide additional financial support and complete ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance team. Competencies Analytical Thinking: Ability to process large volumes of data and identify discrepancies effectively. Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all financial tasks and reporting. Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve financial discrepancies or process bottlenecks Education / Experience / Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Experience: 2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a corporate environment. Experience with audit preparation and financial reconciliations is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems). Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis). Familiarity with financial compliance and regulatory requirements. Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory).
