Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital Labor & Delivery unit Care for a culturally diverse, high-risk obstetric patient population RNs circulate on cesarean sections Shift is night, 3x12 hours from 18:00 to 06:30 Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required Responsible for circulating during cesarean sections and caring for high-risk OB patients Must be willing to float to sister facilities as needed Willingness to work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year is required Accepts local candidates at a lower bill rate Scrub attire is any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy Free parking is available on the first day; assignment parking provided during orientation Compliance modules must be completed pre-assignment and annually Requirements Active CA RN license required Minimum of 1 year Labor & Delivery RN experience Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP required Experience with Epic EMR required Two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty required First-time travelers are accepted Pending licenses are not accepted Must reside outside a 50-mile radius for travel rate eligibility Former staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634104.
