DevOps Engineer

We are strengthening our Platform Engineering & Cloud Operations team and looking for a DevOps Engineer to contribute to the delivery, reliability, and scalability of our Azure‑based Kubernetes platform (AKS). We already have the foundation and design in place and are seeking skilled engineers to implement, optimize, and automate the platform while migrating our web and function apps into AKS. Job Requirements Must‑Have DevOps experience in AKS/Kubernetes environments. Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud architecture, networking, and security concepts. Proficiency with Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, and Terraform (or OpenTofu). Solid scripting experience in Bash and Python. Experience managing MongoDB Atlas in Azure. Familiarity with NATS or similar event‑streaming systems. Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals (deployments, services, ingress, RBAC, namespaces). Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows. Excellent communication skills in English. Nice‑to‑Have Exposure to AI/LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for DevOps automation and process improvement. Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability. Familiarity with Azure Front Door and hybrid networking setups. Knowledge of service discovery, service mesh patterns, and microservice observability. Interest in emerging cloud‑native technologies. Job Responsibilities Contribute to the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of AKS clusters and Kubernetes workloads. Implement and refine Helm charts, ArgoCD GitOps pipelines, and Terraform modules across multiple environments. Support and enhance the Istio service mesh for ingress control, routing, observability, and secure communication. Integrate and operate NATS for event‑driven microservices and messaging. Manage and optimize MongoDB Atlas clusters in Azure for performance and reliability. Automate and streamline infrastructure tasks using Bash and Python scripting. Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and consistent delivery across teams (Bitbucket/GitLab/GitHub). Collaborate with the Platform Architecture and Cloud Ops teams to implement best practices, enforce standards, and ensure operational excellence. Contribute to network and routing configurations to ensure reliable interconnectivity across Azure environments. Explore and apply LLM (Large Language Model) and AI‑driven tools to improve automation, observability, and knowledge sharing. Continuously propose improvements that enhance platform reliability, cost efficiency, and developer experience.
