Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Every other weekend requirement • Holiday requirement: one winter and one summer holiday • Patient ratios: 4:1 (50% of the time) and 5:1 (50% of the time) • 32-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit on 7th floor • Minimum 2 years medical/surgical experience required • Telemetry experience required • Required certifications: BLS and telemetry • Care for medical/surgical overflow patients • Titrate insulin and pain medication drips • Validate telemetry strips with centralized monitoring • Floating requirements apply • Possible standby assignments, no call requirements • Work with respiratory therapy equipment including BiPAP and high flow oxygen • Self-scheduling system with ability to fill open shifts • Professional dress code required - clean attire, no jeans • Epic charting system • BSN not required • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This acute care medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on medical and surgical patient care.
