International Freight Operator – Import/Export Location: Maidstone | Salary: 28-33k Are you an experienced Freight Forwarding professional looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting for an International Freight Operator to join a busy and growing operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in logistics/transport, confident in handling both imports and exports from start to finish. What you’ll be doing: Managing shipments door-to-door, including customs clearance. Building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and suppliers. Preparing quotes and maintaining agreed tariffs. Submitting NES/import entries and reviewing customs paperwork. Handling ATA Carnets and temporary imports. Providing proactive shipment updates and resolving client queries. What we’re looking for: Minimum 2 years’ freight forwarding/logistics experience. Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments. Benefits: Company pension scheme. On-site gym and free parking.
