Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Portsmouth & Southampton Salary: Up to £49,000 (DOE). £1,000 joining bonus Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week . We deliver reliable, high-quality, and sustainable solutions for both public and private sector clients. Were seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team. Youll work across Portsmouth & Southampton, delivering planned and reactive maintenance, working on mechanical systems such as gas appliances, oil appliances, pumps, hot and cold-water systems, and other mechanical services. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and hot/cold water systems Diagnose faults and carry out remedial work Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota Ensure safe working practices and liaise with site staff Escalate issues and complete electronic documentation Essential Qualifications & Skills: NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical discipline or equivalent Commercial/Domestic Gas Certifications (e.g. CCN1, CODNCCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 and CORT1.) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to use SMART devices Full UK driving licence Desirable: Oil and LPG qualifications (e.g. OFT10-101, CONGLP1PD) Unvented water systems & electrical safety training Experience in similar roles and sectors This role will be working for Corrigenda FM, who are part of the Apleona Group.
