Client Affairs Officer – Part Time (18 hours) - £22.86 p/h Location: Hammersmith, West London Part-time: 18 hours per week Salary: £22.86 Per hour PAYE Hybrid working: 1 day per week in the office Duration: 3 months initially About the Role West London Council are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Client Affairs Officer to join their Adult Social Care team. This vital role supports vulnerable adult residents in the borough by delivering statutory services including appointeeship, deputyship, property protection, and Council-managed funerals. Key Responsibilities Provide statutory appointeeship and deputyship services to safeguard the financial interests of service users. Investigate and assess the financial circumstances of individuals under Council care. Manage cases involving property protection, burials, and estates for borough residents. Administer and reconcile service users’ personal and bank accounts in line with Council financial regulations and departmental procedures. Ensure compliance with all statutory duties and maintain accurate financial records. What They are Looking For Experience in financial administration or case management, ideally within a public sector or social care setting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive cases with empathy and professionalism. Knowledge of statutory responsibilities related to appointeeship and deputyship is desirable. Why Join Them?
