Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Dalkia Facilities, you'll play a key role in identifying, attracting, and recruiting candidates for roles including cleaning, caretaking, maintenance engineering and operations support, along with developing and delivering recruitment plans and projects for a defined business unit. This role is a match for someone who is looking to develop their business partnering skills and broaden their experience in talent acquisition via delivering value add projects that contribute to our Talent and People strategies. You'll also enjoy working in a very fast-paced / high volume environment. Hours of Work Monday - Friday 8.45-5.15, 40 hours per week Hybrid - 1 -2 days per week at Trafford Quays office, 2 x days per month at Runcorn office, 2 x site visits per month mainly in the North West plus quarterly team meeting attendance (locations tbc) Responsibilities Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and deliver quality talent in line with business requirements Proactively sourcing and engage with candidates using a variety of platforms, including job boards, LinkedIn, and industry-specific networks Conducting initial screening interviews to assess candidate suitability for open positions Arranging interviews, psychometric testing etc Delivering a brilliant candidate experience Talent Pooling potential future candidates Promoting and enhance the company’s employer brand through engagement with potential candidates and active participation in recruitment events and other outreach activities Delivering recruitment training to hiring managers upskilling them in all areas of recruitment Supporting the People Team and Talent Acquisition Manager with other recruitment and talent development initiatives Working within the People Team to positively contribute to the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all candidate interactions and recruitment activities Requirements Experienced recruiter, both high volume recruitment and search Proficiency with recruitment software Full driving licence and own transport Experience of developing and delivering recruitment initiatives/ projects - ideal Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation Active listening skills Proactive approach with the ability to take the initiative Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple hiring projects simultaneously Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a very fast-paced environment Benefits Bonus based on personal and team performance 25 days holiday increasing with length of service, plus Bank Holidays birthday off, option to purchase additional 5 days Life Assurance Flexible Benefits Scheme – including eye care voucher, store discounts for major retailers, salary sacrifice electric car vehicle lease scheme, personal IT equipment loans, impartial financial/savings guidance Access to wellbeing programmes Employee recognition programmes which reward exceptional achievements The opportunity to use one working day per year volunteering to help the local community Employee Assistance Programme - free, confidential 24/7 365 support on all lifestyle matters Access to our extensive career portal with career planner tool and online learning At Dalkia, we are committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
