Job Description
We are looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to join our Managed Services team. This role is open to both junior and mid-level engineers - whether you’re starting your IT career, already have solid experience supporting business environments, or have worked in an MSP, we’d like to hear from you. // About the role You’ll support a range of business clients across cloud and on-premises environments. Your work will involve resolving support tickets, maintaining infrastructure, and contributing to an environment that values technical excellence, continuous improvement, and great customer service. You’ll be based in Forres, Moray , working closely with our small but growing Scottish team. As we continue to expand our presence across Scotland, you’ll play a key role in supporting local clients and helping us grow our reputation within the community. // Key Responsibilities Respond to support tickets via phone, email, and remote tools Deliver high-quality support with an excellent telephone manner Diagnose and resolve issues across desktop, server, and cloud systems Support and maintain Windows 11 devices, Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure servers, SQL, and security solutions Perform proactive system monitoring, patching, and maintenance Document fixes and contribute to internal knowledge bases Participate in an on-call rota // Who We’re Looking For Strong communication and problem-solving skills Professional, calm, and customer-focused Keen interest in new technologies and continuous improvement Takes pride in quality work and the pursuit of excellence // For Junior Engineers Some hands-on IT support experience (commercial, personal lab, or study) Basic understanding of Windows, networking, and Microsoft 365 // For Mid-Level Engineers 2 years’ experience in IT support or MSP environments Confident with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Windows Server Able to handle escalations and assist less experienced colleagues // Desirable PowerShell or scripting experience Knowledge of networking and firewalls Experience with Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, or MDT RMM and automation workflow experience Understanding of proactive monitoring and alerting Familiarity with security, backup, or cloud management tools Microsoft or CompTIA certifications Clean driving licence // AI and Innovation We actively explore how automation and AI can enhance IT service delivery, from streamlining tasks to improving client outcomes.
