VSI & Parts Fit Technician Location: neath Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour (with overtime potential up to £38,285) Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:30pm, Alternating Saturdays 8:00am 1:00pm Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Join Our Team as a VSI & Parts Fit Technician! Are you passionate about vehicle safety, quality workmanship, and keeping standards sky-high? we are looking for a dedicated VSI & Parts Fit Technician to carry out comprehensive vehicle safety inspections (VSI) and repairs to the very highest standards. Youll play a key role in ensuring all vehicles meet legal and safety requirements, while maintaining our commitment to excellence, compliance, and top-tier customer service. What Youll Be Doing Conduct VSI inspections , maintaining accurate records and documentation. Deliver the highest standard of vehicle inspection and diagnostics, ensuring all repairs meet DVSA and company standards. Record specialist repair details, wheel torques, and QC documentation with precision. Ensure all vehicles meet road safety and compliance regulations before release. Carry out diagnostic and repair work using provided diagnostic tools and support systems. Liaise with the in-house stores department to produce work lists for authorisation. Maintain clean, organised work areas and adhere to all health and safety policies. Use trade plates responsibly during road tests, ensuring all documentation is properly completed. What Were Looking For A skilled technician with a strong eye for detail and commitment to safety. Experience in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs. Excellent record-keeping and compliance awareness. Team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to undertake internal and external training and continuous development.
