The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Senior Advisory Consultant to shape and transform how enterprises leverage cloud technology. This strategic role will influence leaders across industries, market segments, and technical domains to drive transformative business outcomes. As a Senior‑level advisor, you will be responsible for identifying patterns across customers, developing new architectural patterns, and creating innovative capabilities that define the future of cloud adoption. Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Senior Delivery Consultant you will drive innovation and influence executive‑level stakeholders across multiple organizations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders as trusted advisors, providing guidance on industry trends, enterprise cloud transformation, and innovative cloud solutions. You will also provide sales support, ensuring alignment to customer business outcomes and value realization. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. The team provides assistance through a collection of offerings that help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption and delivers focused guidance through our global specialty practices, covering a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries. Key job responsibilities Developing and delivering comprehensive business case analyses that demonstrate expected customer ROI, solution guidance, and implementation pathways for strategic cloud initiatives. Leading cloud operations transformations in one or more of the following domains: Supply Chain, Warehouse Automation, FinOps, MarTech and Commerce, and cloud operations. Driving enterprise transformations leveraging cloud and emerging technologies through program management, value‑realization strategies, and cloud strategy development. Spearheading data and AI transformations, with a focus on Generative AI advisory for delivery, user adoption, operations transformation, and AI governance. Orchestrating large‑scale cloud migration and modernization plans, aligning application portfolios with business priorities and architecting data‑center exit strategies. Cultivating strategic relationships with C‑suite executives and key stakeholders to become a trusted advisor on cloud transformation initiatives. Driving strategic sales opportunities from inception to closure at the executive level. Creating scalable mechanisms and leading new initiatives that transform how customers adopt cloud technologies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience. 5 years of experience in management consulting or internal technology advisory roles, with a minimum of 2 completed projects in one of the following industries: Media & Sports, Manufacturing, Energy, Retail/CPG, Digital Native. 3 years experience in enterprise cloud transformation initiatives involving C‑suite executives with at least 2 projects from the industries listed above. 5 years experience in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain, Warehouse Automation, MarTech and Commerce, Data & AI Strategy (including Generative AI implementation strategies), FinOps, and Cloud Financial Management. Preferred Qualifications AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Connect, RDS, Amazon Q). AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Machine Learning, Solutions Architect). Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience with emerging technologies such as GenAI and Agentic AI applications in industry‑specific contexts. Strong financial modeling and market research skills, with the ability to conduct operational impact assessments. Compensation and Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
