Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring ARRT (CT), BLS (AHA), and a valid Michigan license. Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based CT department at a Level II Trauma Center Patient population includes trauma and general diagnostic cases Schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required No block scheduling is available Potential floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required Works with another technologist; not a solo shift Performs computerized tomography exams and may assist with general radiology procedures Explains exam procedures to patients, prepares rooms and equipment, and administers IV contrast using power injectors Resolves PACS image exceptions and indexes studies in the RIS Assists radiologists with sterile and complex diagnostic procedures such as biopsies Demonstrates customer service values, teamwork, and open communication COVID-19 vaccination is required Online training modules must be completed prior to start date, typically one week before Allow at least two weeks for background check and drug screening completion Holiday and weekend coverage is required as part of the rotating schedule Requirements Active Michigan license required if applicable Minimum of 2 years recent CT technologist experience Current ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced registry in CT (or registry-eligible) BLS certification through AHA required High school diploma or GED required Must complete onsite online modules with a passing score prior to starting Physical ability to occasionally lift or move equipment/patients over 10 lbs Must maintain required hours of continued medical education Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-631649.
