Job Description Job Description Metro Services is looking to hire Die Setters for a Manufacturing company in Wellington, OH. This is a temp/contract position. Apply Now! Duties for this position include: Based on the press schedule, get the next die from its storage location and bring it to the press Obtain a press setup sheet and a quality section for the job being set and bring to the press Clean press bolster and ram prior to setting a die Clean both upper and lower die parallels. Set the die on the press bolster in the proper location per setup instructions and bolt into place If applicable, set up all HMS transfer system items Per setup instructions, bring the proper conveyors to the press and set up as required Un-bolt dies after the production run, ensure scrap is removed from the die, and place it in the proper location If applicable, unhook transfer system items and place them in the proper storage locations Clean excess puddling of oil off the die racks and the floor under the die racks Ensure that the scrap is not on the bolster tracks prior to moving the rolling bolsters Compensation (USD): $19.00/hour Schedule: Night Shift Monday - Thursday OT on Friday - Saturday 7:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. We are currently seeking candidates from the following areas: Elyria, OH Amherst, OH North Ridgeville, OH Medina, OH Vermillion, OH Lorain, OH Brunswick, OH Norwalk, OH Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: Clean Background/Drug screen High School Diploma or GED required Possess and maintain current forklift operator license Thorough knowledge of progressive and automated transfer stamping press operations Understand basic math Lifting of up to 40 lbs. and push scrap with resistance to 40 lbs.
