IT Service Desk (SD) is the centralized IT support organization within OTS Global IT Delivery located across America, Europe/Prague, India. The team utilizes an omni‑channel contact center to provide efficient, streamlined 24/7 IT support to worldwide (WW) Operations (Ops) associates and internal/external support for Amazon Lockers. SD plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Amazon sites globally and thereby has a direct impact on Amazon’s ability to serve its customers on time. Responsibilities Effective communication skills: Demonstrating proficiency in clear and concise communication, interacting with Amazon internal customers including APAC/EMEA/AMER Operations, IT teams, and customer support. Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and efficiency in daily operations. IT troubleshooting on end‑user devices: Resolving issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners. Understanding and troubleshooting various operating systems, specifically Windows and Linux. Flexible work schedule involving rotational shifts in a 24/7 operating environment to provide real‑time customer experience. Adherence to OTS Service Desk goals: Meeting targets for response and resolution SLAs, CSAT, and effectively managing incidents. A willingness to relocate as career advancement opportunities throughout the company become available is strongly desired. Basic Qualifications 1 years of corporate setting support experience with Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems. Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems. Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals. Preferred Qualifications CompTIA A, CompTIA Network, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications. Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
