Responsibilities Outpatient high volume mammography unit Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Procedures include 3-D mammography, screening/diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and needle localizations Day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) and occasional Saturdays (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Epic EMR experience is required Floating among multiple facilities within the state is expected Responsibilities include conducting a variety of mammography procedures and assisting with related special procedures as directed by physicians All newly assigned techs must complete 25 observed exams before working independently Adherence to Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and FDA quality control requirements is mandatory Former permanent staff must have at least a 3-month separation before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius First-time travelers are accepted RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted up front and post-submission requests may be declined Scrub attire is required Requirements Active WA state radiologic technologist license required if applicable BLS and ARRT certifications required Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required, with 2 years of full-time mammography experience strongly preferred Proficiency in producing high quality diagnostic mammographic images and performing special breast procedures Experience working with mammography and digital processing equipment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-633233.
