Responsibilities Work in the X-Ray Tech department of a large Level 1 trauma, teaching, and Magnet hospital Schedule is 3x12 hour night shifts, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holidays as needed Initial orientation may occur during day shifts in the first contract week Call rotation is required 3-4 days per month Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required, but not to sister facilities Epic EMR is used Must provide own radiation badge as it will not be supplied by the facility Team operates in a high-acuity, fast-paced, teaching hospital environment All time off requests must be submitted at time of application and approval is based on facility needs First-time travelers are accepted, travel experience preferred Teal top and black bottoms are the required scrub colors Parking for nights and weekends requires a one-time payment for a pass Previous perm staff must have a 1-year separation from the hospital system before returning as a traveler Candidates living within 60 miles are considered locals and offered at a local rate During hurricane season (June through November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Requirements Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience Current BLS certification (AHA required) ARRT (R) certification and SCRQSA (R) required O/C-Arm experience required Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency) License required if applicable SSN and driver’s license required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-633190.
