Responsibilities Work in a 9-OR ambulatory surgical center Patient population includes Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, and Total Joints No general surgery, labor and delivery, or pediatrics Option for 3x12 hour shifts (6:30a-7p) or 4x10 hour shifts (6:30a-5p), days only One late shift per 4 weeks may be required to complete cases No weekend or on-call requirements Possible floating within the Perioperative facility Uses Epic EMR Must be prepared to precept care team members in the OR as needed All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of application and are subject to approval based on facility needs Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a local rate Previous permanent or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation from the facility before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are not being accepted Completion of onboarding modules is required prior to start, averaging 4 hours During hurricane season (June to November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Professional appearance and scrubs required Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required for consideration AHA BLS certification required Minimum two years of recent operating room experience in specified surgical specialties Experience with Epic EMR preferred Must provide a radiation badge from parent company Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624380.
