Support Worker Young People

We have an exciting new opportunity, starting January 2026 to recruit experienced Level 3 Support Workers to join a brand new care package in Weston Super Mare. Highbridge Resourcing are a Social Care Agency and we are recruiting a level 3 qualified Support Workers to work with a vulnerable young female on a 2 to 1 care package based in Weston Super Mare. The young person will move into their own accommodation in January 2026 so you will be responsible for supporting her with the transition into independent accommodation/solo home. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS ROLE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR FEMALE SUPPORT WORKERS ONLY. The support worker role is available on a temporary long term basis and requires commitment and stability. You can give your availability on a weekly or monthly basis to the manager and she will issue your shifts accordingly. You MUST be available to work consistently each week. The shifts available are day shift 0800-2300 plus sleep AND/OR waking night 2200-0800 The ideal support worker MUST have: Have an NVQ level 3 in children and young people, or equivalent qualification (such as Counselling, Psychology Degree, Access to Nursing, Education Diploma) - ESSENTIAL Have at least 6 months paid experience in childrens/young people or similar support worker role in the UK. Be a car driver /owner Experience of working with complex mental health All successful applicants will be contacted within 48 hours and will be subject to an interview. A full registration with Highbridge Resourcing is also required. You will need to show evidence of an enhanced DBS that allows you to work with children and adults.
