About the Role We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Technician to join the team at H-Farm School , part of Nord Anglia Education . In this role, you will ensure the smooth running of the school’s IT infrastructure, providing day-to-day technical support to staff and students. You’ll troubleshoot issues, maintain hardware and software, and play an essential role in keeping our digital learning environment secure, efficient, and innovative. This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, supporting people, and ensuring that every classroom and system runs flawlessly. Key Responsibilities IT Support and Maintenance Provide IT support, training, and onboarding for new users. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. Monitor and process Service Desk tickets, prioritising requests according to NAE’s Service Level Agreement. Configure and maintain all devices according to school standards. Keep records of IT assets up to date and ensure secure data management practices. Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory. Monitor antivirus systems and respond promptly to any security threats. Coordinate repairs with vendors and manage relationships with external service providers. Maintain and support all school equipment including projectors, printers, photocopiers, and classroom devices. Ensure that IT support is continuously available during school hours. Multimedia and Event Support Set up and manage audiovisual equipment for classrooms, assemblies, and school events. Operate and maintain projectors, microphones, lighting, and sound systems. Support live events in the auditorium, ensuring top‑quality audio and visual experiences. Train staff and students in the correct use of multimedia and printing equipment. Contribute to school‑wide AV and IT innovation projects. Documentation and Process Log and track all IT requests and interventions in the NAE ticketing system. Follow up on assigned tasks in Teams Planner, ensuring deadlines are met. Create user‑friendly guides and manuals for common IT and AV procedures. Skills & Experience Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of modern IT systems, operating systems, and software platforms. Experience with server environments, network management, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance. Understanding of cybersecurity practices and information security. Personal Attributes Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Reliable team player with a proactive and flexible approach. Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Self‑taught curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Availability to move/travel to other campuses (Veneto Area).
