Responsibilities Work in an acute care imaging center with CT and X-ray cases Department includes 1 CT scanner, 3 X-ray machines, and 1 portable X-ray unit Shift is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM Assigned to both CT and X-ray modalities during each shift, with approximately 30 scans per shift Patient population includes urgent care and ER patients, including some pediatric cases Procedures include Code Strokes, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine imaging, and 3D reconstruction Uses Epic for charting and McKesson PACS Siemens equipment for CT and X-ray, Carestream for portable imaging Two staff members on overnight shifts Backup call required with 30-minute response time on a rotating basis Department provides standard OR blue scrubs Staff collaborate to manage workloads and handle CT procedures cooperatively Must be comfortable using Volt phone for provider communication Orientation includes at least two shifts, typically on days Must be willing to work assigned holidays and some weekends No blocked scheduling or special requests for scheduling accepted Permanent employees must not have worked at this facility for at least one year before applying as a traveler Standard department protocols require backup call coverage on rotation Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent CT and X-ray experience required; 5 years preferred Active ARRT certification (CT and X-ray) required Current BLS (AHA or ARC) required Experience with Epic EMR required Must be skilled in IV starts and handling Code Stroke/CVA patients Experience with Siemens equipment preferred Ability to rotate between CT and X-ray as needed during shift Must provide 2 recent references: one supervisor within the last 12 months, one peer/supervisor within the last 3 years (with dates of employment and eligibility for rehire) Active state license required at time of consideration if applicable Copy of driver's license required No first-time travelers accepted Must live at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614585.
