Summary Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Program Manager, Engineering drives and manages large end‑to‑end projects at designated facilities. The role partners with Plant Leadership, external contractors, and suppliers, applying technical, engineering, and program‑management expertise to lead turnkey and complex large‑scale projects while ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. Strong business acumen and leadership of a decision‑making team are essential. Essential Job Functions Maintain active relationships with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain to ensure projects meet applicable product quality, industry, and regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with Refresco NA Operations Leadership and Procurement during the preparation, decision‑making, and execution phases of turnkey projects. Participate in the writing of CAPEX proposals and project planning for turnkey and large‑scale projects, supporting approval at Board level. Facilitate the testing phases of equipment in turnkey projects prior to implementation. Lead the development, implementation, and training of best practices within Refresco NA to strengthen program management. Ensure the plant is fully prepared for the project by engaging all relevant functions, communicating expectations, and holding teams accountable. Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress and budget status; recommend immediate actions when deviations occur. Demonstrate end‑to‑end program management leadership to plant leadership and employees to ensure consistent quality of work. Ensure flawless startup of new equipment, training plant leadership teams and employees on the equipment. Maintain effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the plant to support program objectives. Document project activities and prepare appropriate operating standards and maintenance procedures for new equipment and processes. Ensure compliance with all OSHA, environmental regulatory, and corporate standards as they relate to projects. Work closely with manufacturing Engineering to ensure the availability of resources for turnkey and large‑scale projects. Required Skills Ability to manage communication with executive leadership. Excellent project management and reporting skills. Proficiency in Excel, Word, SAP, Project, and PowerPoint. Strong team player who works across multiple functions. Ability to work under deadline pressures. Performs work with little direct supervision. Manages complex issues and problems, escalating only those that cannot be resolved after all possible solutions have been explored. Possesses expert working knowledge of relevant subject matter. Education and Experience Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience. Experience in program management roles, preferably in a food/beverage manufacturing environment. Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, procurement, and/or engineering within a food/beverage manufacturing environment. PMP certification preferred. Working Conditions Visual/Sensory – requires moderate attention with one or two senses at a time. Work environment – repetitive. Mental Stress – pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy, or similar demands. Travel Requirements Travel anticipated – occasional (25%).
