Travel CT Tech - $3,090 per week in Newton Lower Falls, MA

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Sun/Wed/Thurs/Fri Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Radiology required License: Licensed by the State Clienttion Control Board Certifications: ARRT Registered- RT (R) or RT (N) preferred Must-Have: ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred Description: Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician and technical specialist. Uses prescribed levels of ionizing radiation. Performs all activities according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures. Cares for a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts. Inserts and removes IVs as needed. Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience is required. Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients is preferred. If no CT License is held at the time of hire, the Technologist must obtain the CT License within one year. CPR certification is required.
