Travel Surgical Tech - $1,956 per week in Zanesville, OH

Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Technologist Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Negotiable Hours per Shift: 36-40 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program Certifications: BLS required, CST preferred Must-Have: - Highly skilled and experienced surgical technologist - Wide level of experience with orthopedic, neuro, vascular, etc. - Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required Description: This assignment requires a highly skilled and experienced surgical technologist. Candidates must have a broad range of current experience. The surgical technologist will work 36-40 hours per week. Weekly total and start and end times are negotiable. Call requirements will include approximately every 2nd or 3rd weekend. There will be 1-2 calls per week, with a 30-minute response time. Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the contract. In times of low census or high demand, the surgical technologist will be required to float to general operating room and outpatient surgery. Candidates must possess excellent critical thinking skills. Knowledge of central processing and instrumentation is required. All call requirements are based on department need and potential changes in staffing. These hours may include variability based on current patient census and staffing.
