Project Manager

A growing consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fit-out projects is seeking a Project Manager to join its team in Essex. With schemes ranging from £100k to £2m, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take ownership of diverse projects across the healthcare, retail and commercial sectors. The successful Project Manager will work on fast-paced fit-out and refurbishment schemes across the region, often within live environments. This role is ideal for a Project Manager who enjoys working directly with clients, taking projects from concept to completion, and managing multiple stakeholders to tight deadlines. The Project Manager's role The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle from brief development through to handover, typically delivering several schemes at once. Responsibilities include contract administration, programme and cost management, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with site and client requirements. Projects are primarily new fit-outs and refurbishments, often within occupied buildings, so strong organisation and communication skills are essential. The Project Manager will be expected to work closely with internal teams, contractors and client representatives to ensure each scheme is delivered safely, on time and within budget. The Project Manager Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline 3 years' experience delivering fit-out or refurbishment projects Experience working within healthcare, retail or commercial sectors Familiar with JCT contracts and managing projects from £100k to £2m Strong communication and client-facing skills Working towards or holding APM, RICS, CIOB accreditation is beneficial In Return?
