Site Engineer

Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking to work on a variety of exciting construction projects across the North East? We are currently working with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Site Engineer for upcoming and ongoing projects in the region. With a strong order book covering sectors such as education, healthcare, industrial, commercial, retail, and leisure, this is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor with a long-term regional presence. Key Responsibilities: * Accurate setting out and surveying using GPS, robotic total stations, and other instruments * Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring on-site compliance * Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams * Supporting the delivery of quality assurance documentation and as-built records * Ensuring health & safety standards and company procedures are followed * Involvement in temporary works, method statements, and risk assessments Requirements: * Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field * Previous experience in a Site Engineer role on large-scale construction sites * Strong understanding of setting out and site surveying techniques * CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS beneficial * Proficient in AutoCAD and surveying equipment * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary depending on experience * Company vehicle or car allowance * Pension and benefits package * Clear route for career progression with continued support and training * A collaborative and professional working environment This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Site Engineer who wants to grow within a reputable contractor delivering diverse and challenging schemes across the North East
