Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Temporary) Location: Hereford Contract: Full-Time, Temporary Start Date: ASAP Salary: £90-£120 per day About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school community in Hereford. This is a full-time temporary position, supporting students across all year groups and key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside teaching staff in a range of subjects, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Provide in-class support across a variety of subjects and year groups (Key Stages 3–4). Assist individual students and small groups to access learning and reach their full potential. Support teachers with preparation of learning materials and classroom activities. Help to maintain a calm and focused classroom atmosphere. Provide feedback on student progress and contribute to assessment where appropriate. Assist with supervision during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities as required. About You We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about supporting young people and helping them to succeed. Adaptable and confident working across different subjects and age groups. A good communicator, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required. Experienced in a similar school support role Requirements Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one). Availability for full-time working hours during term time.
