Production Manager

To support with the company growth across Europe, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimise the manufacturing, logistics, and order processing operations. Your Responsibilities * Oversee end-to-end production planning and ensure on-time delivery * Ensure compliance with quality standards, certifications, and regulations; ISO, BSI and Element * Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste * Drive automation and process optimisation initiatives * Reduce production defects and enhance product quality * Oversee inventory management and procurement of materials through ERP system and carry out audits of accuracy through use of reports generated and day to day observation * Optimise supply chain processes and coordinate with suppliers * Improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction * Supervise the back-office team handling customer orders and ERP data entry * Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order processing, addressing discrepancies promptly * Manage procurement related to order fulfilment and production. Work closely with purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics teams for timely deliveries * Lead and develop teams across manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance, and order processing * Plan and manage assembly team for smooth operations of production assembly team * Train and onboard new staff, ensuring ongoing professional development * Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration * Analyse and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, rejection rates, lead times, and order fulfilment efficiency * Develop and implement measures for operational improvements * Provide regular reports to senior management with strategic recommendations Your Profile * Proven experience in a leadership role within manufacturing, logistics, or order processing, preferably in mechanical or electronic technology * Proficient user of MS Office, in particular MS Excel * Experience in managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics) * Affinity for technical products, particularly in mechanical and electronic engineering * Analytical and strategic thinking skills * Hands-on mentality with strong problem-solving abilities * Structured and goal-oriented leadership style * Excellent communication and team management skills * High self-motivation and ability to work independently Additional Requirements Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe, especially Germany and the Netherlands What Our Client Offers * A key leadership role with a high degree of responsibility * Short decision-making paths and an open company culture * Competitive salary and additional benefits Apply today!
