DBS Chef Are you passionate about working with fresh, high quality ingredients every day? This is an ongoing support role and bookings are confirmed up until Christmas and could be continued after 08:00 - 16:30 Monday-Friday. We’re currently seeking experienced chefs with a valid Enhanced DBS certificate including child barred list check to start as soon as possible. This is a temporary position, ideal for chefs wanting flexible extra hours or those interested in longer-term assignments that could lead to permanent work. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all aspects of food production while maintaining exceptional quality standards. * Lead, support, and train kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. * Plan and develop creative, seasonal menus that delight guests. * Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene compliance. * Supervise food preparation and service to deliver an outstanding dining experience. * Cook and present dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail. * Provide warm, professional hospitality that exceeds guest expectations. About You * Proven experience in a busy kitchen or restaurant environment. * Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands on approach. * In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management. * Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. * Experience supervising and developing a culinary team. * Genuine passion for cooking and delivering exceptional food and service.
