Site Engineer

Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in Rickmansworth. Responsibilities: * Promote and maintain a strong health, safety, and environmental culture in line with company policies and legal requirements. * Ensure all work is delivered safely and in full compliance with environmental and company procedures. * Uphold quality standards by delivering defect-free work and promoting best practices. * Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes. * Establish and manage survey control and setting out of works according to contract drawings. * Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organisational and legal documentation requirements. * Resolve technical issues or unforeseen site challenges efficiently. * Prepare procurement schedules and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure adequate site resources. * Produce and manage ITPs, Task Briefings, two-week lookaheads, site diaries, and allocation sheets in coordination with the Site Agent. Required Experiences: * Proven experience in setting out on civil engineering projects. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and relevant regulations. * Proficient in using robotic total stations and EDM instruments. * Degree or HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering. * Excellent communication skills with a proactive, results-driven attitude. * Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (desirable). * Knowledge or experience in temporary works coordination (desirable). * Valid CSCS card (desirable). * Training in cable avoidance, first aid, and NEBOSH or IOSH certification (desirable)
