Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager Scotland Walker Cole International is supporting an innovative Scottish pharmaceutical company in the search for an experienced GxP Warehouse Manager to establish, lead, and oversee warehouse operations at their new facility. The successful candidate will ensure that all materials, intermediates, and finished products are received, stored, and distributed in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP). As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for: * Leading and managing warehouse operations, including goods-in, goods-out, storage, quarantine, and distribution, ensuring full GxP compliance (GMP, GDP) and batch control. * Developing and maintaining SOPs and documentation, supporting audits and MHRA inspections, and ensuring compliance with WDA and “Specials” licence requirements. * Recruiting, training, and supervising warehouse teams, promoting a culture of compliance, safety, and continuous improvement. * Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities, liaising with procurement, production, and third-party providers, ensuring inventory control, import/export compliance, and efficient distribution. The successful Warehouse Manager will demonstrate: * Proven experience in a GMP/GDP regulated warehouse environment (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or similar). * Strong knowledge of MHRA requirements and practical experience with WDA/MIA operations. * Experience with ERP/WMS systems and inventory management under batch control. The desirable experience of the Warehouse Manager is: * Experience working with controlled drugs.
