IFS Technical Support Analyst

Job Title: IFS Technical Support Analyst (Apps10) Summary: The business are looking for a talented PL/SQL and Crystal Reports developer with a knowledge of the IFS Applications suite, IFS Business Reporter and experience of web-based integrations. As a member of the Information Technology Team you will be involved in implementing, maintaining and supporting IFS functionality across multiple companies and sites. Advanced PL/SQL and Crystal Reports skills are a must alongside a broad knowledge of the IFS Applications suite and modules, though other ERP systems would also be considered. You will be providing 2nd and 3rd line support for IFS ERP related queries alongside 1st line support for any Crystal related issues. The job includes supporting the IT Manager on the management of the IFS database and its related sub systems. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the Crystal Reports and Business Reporter suites. Mange the configuration of web based integrations. Support and develop custom PL/SQL packages, events and other IFS customisations, using best practice to ensure customisations are robust and meet the business need. Conduct error analysis on all technical related issues. Work with the IFS Superusers to develop and validate functional design documents (FDDs/CRIMs) and provide proactive feedback from a technical/practicality point of view. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating test scenarios, supporting business users during testing activities, documenting test results and delivering successful deployment of changes and enhancements to the IFS ERP system. Creation and maintenance of IFS Lobbies and Dashboards. Skills required: Five or more years technical experience using PL/SQL within an IFS Applications or similar environment, including package build, deployment and grants. A proven track record developing and deploying Crystal Reports and IFS Business Reporter. Knowledge of Web based integrations and certifications. Experience of other ERP systems and business change programmes. BC clearance will be required and must be eligible for SC clearance. Full UK driving licence as part of the role may require occasional travel to various locations. Confidant in dealing with customers from all levels of the business in a polite and professional manner. Ability to manage own workload while working as part of the Information Technology Team.
