Job Title: Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant – Foundation Phase, Full-Time, Tonteg, Pontypridd Location: Tonteg, Pontypridd, South Wales, UK Salary: £88.92 per day (minimum) Job Description: Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in primary education? Our client, a reputable and leading primary school in Tonteg, Pontypridd, is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the foundation phase, assisting the class teacher in creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children. Key Responsibilities: * Provide general classroom support to ensure smooth daily activities * Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities * Support the development of young children's social, emotional, and educational needs * Assist with classroom management and behaviour support * Help prepare classroom resources and materials as needed * Encourage positive behaviour and inclusive participation among pupils Requirements: * Relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent * Prior experience supporting children within a primary school setting, particularly in foundation phase * Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-focused approach * Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, pupils, and parents * Flexible, proactive, and committed to creating a positive learning environment * Read, write, inc experience is desirable Working Pattern: * Full-time, long-term role * Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm Join this friendly and supportive primary school and contribute to shaping the educational experiences of young learners.
