Team Manager - Children in Care Location: Peterborough - Hybrid - 2/3 days per week in office Rate: £45 per hour Contract Type: Temporary Peterborough City Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to lead a specialist team supporting children and young people in care. This is requiring a strong understanding of complex care needs and multi-agency collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Deputising for the Head of Service for Corporate Parenting Working closely with the Service Manager for Corporate Parenting Overseeing care for children and young people outside the criminal justice system whose behaviours may pose significant risks to themselves or others Experience & Knowledge: Proven experience managing social work staff in children's services Ability to work collaboratively with health and police partners Skilled in risk management and safeguarding within complex care environments This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
