My job, Our future As Marketplace Growth Lead , you will play a pivotal role in scaling our B2B2C digital marketplace. This senior position is responsible for driving dealer (vendor) onboarding, sales performance, and close collaboration with local sales companies within the Group. You’ll be responsible for accelerating marketplace adoption and driving sustainable growth through commercial, operational, and digital levers. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities Vendor Onboarding & Market Launches • Work closely with local sales companies to define and execute dealer onboarding plans, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and the B2B2C customer journey. • Support dealers in improving their customer-facing performance: promotions, product availability, delivery timeframes, and service responsiveness. • Develop training materials and onboarding processes that empower dealers to succeed on the platform by optimizing their product visibility, sales performance, and customer satisfaction. Marketplace Growth & Sales Performance • Define and implement growth strategies to expand platform usage, GMV, and vendor contribution. • Monitor and report on growth KPIs, including vendor performance, average order value, and buyer engagement to drive data-informed decisions. • Lead initiatives that boost customer acquisition, repeat buying, and overall revenue. End Customer Journey Optimization • Work with product and UX teams to ensure a smooth, high-converting customer experience — from product discovery to checkout. • Monitor customer feedback and buying behavior to guide improvements in search functionality, assortment strategy, and UX/UI. • Collaborate with marketing and category teams to optimize how products are presented and promoted to customers. Collaboration with Local Sales Companies • Partner closely with local sales companies (Group-owned entities) to align commercial goals, local market needs, and dealer engagement strategies. • Work with sales companies to ensure digital sales initiatives are aligned with customer service, logistics, and field sales operations. • Collect feedback from local teams and share with project team to continuously improve platform performance. Skills & Requirements • Proven experience in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, or commercial growth roles—ideally in B2B or B2B2C environments. • Previous experience in spare parts, industrial products, or automotive sectors is a plus, especially working with dealers. • Understanding of customer behavior in complex buying journeys, including industrial or technical product contexts. • Experience working cross-functionally across sales, product, and marketing teams in a matrixed organization. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (additional European languages a strong plus). • Solid analytical skills with fluency in tools like Google Analytics, Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms. • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools (e.g. Intershop, Mirakl, Magento, PIM/ERP integrations). • Understanding of marketplace-specific KPIs such as GMV, take rate, CAC, and CLV. Master’s degree preferred: in Business Administration, E-Commerce / Digital Business, Marketing, or related field. • Hybrid work: up to 2 days home office possible per week • Travel 10-20% Type of Contract • Fixed Contract (3 years)
