Job Description

Ant International’s AliExpress seeks a strategic Business Operations & Partnerships Manager to spearhead the adoption, scaling, and management of the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) product across Latin America, with a core focus on Mexico and Brazil . You will be the primary owner of BNPL growth in these markets, driving partnerships, optimizing operations, and ensuring alignment with Ant International’s global fintech vision. Own End-to-End Business Operations: Manage the entire operational lifecycle, including product development planning, campaign execution, marketing initiatives, and partnership collaboration. Foster seamless alignment with cross-functional stakeholders across AliExpress (Product, Technology, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, Credit Risk, Customer Service). Drive BNPL Adoption via Partnerships: Collaborate strategically with external partners to accelerate BNPL growth in Mexico. Leverage deep understanding of regional and global fintech & lending landscapes to inform strategies. Shape Product Strategy & Roadmap: Actively contribute to and influence the BNPL product roadmap with Product Development and Technology teams. Focus on enhancing user experience (UX), developing new features and operational tools to improve conversion rates and overall product usability. Leverage Data-Driven Insights: Serve as a data expert, analyzing and reporting on critical business metrics. Provide actionable insights that significantly influence strategic and tactical business decisions. Optimize Marketing & Conversion: Utilize deep expertise in marketing conversion funnels and user behavior metrics. Analyze user retention and traffic patterns to design, execute, and measure impactful educational and conversion campaigns for AliExpress BNPL users. Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee daily operational activities, including external partner alignment/communications, promotion campaign management, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), product roadmap planning, performance reporting, and budget management. Required: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related fields. Experience: 7 years in product operations, partnerships, and/or marketing within technology, lending, financial services, fintech, or e-commerce (marketplace experience preferred). Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis with deep expertise in key conversion metrics and performance indicators. Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate, negotiate, and align internal/external stakeholders. Execution Excellence: Strong multitasking and project management capabilities across concurrent workstreams. Adaptability in fast-paced environments with relentless focus on P&L ownership and results. Mindset: Self-motivated, goal-oriented leader who thrives independently and collaboratively in remote/global team settings. Language: Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish . Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or related field). Experience scaling BNPL/credit products in Latin America. Familiarity with Ant International/Alibaba ecosystems. Portuguese language skills.
