We are looking for knowledgeable, friendly, and motivated individuals to join our team. We offer competitive pay and generous benefits. Responsibilities and Duties (includes but are not limited to): Completes general maintenance duties of buildings and property Communicates effectively and professionally with residents and management team Creates a friendly atmosphere in a busy multicultural environment Assists residents with mechanical aspects of their apartments On Call responsibilities with a weekly rotating schedule Assists with some after-hours community annual events Installs doors, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, etc. Completes and maintains routine mechanical boiler room checks Completes maintenance for unit turns Manages service work order requests in a complete and timely manner Responsibilities with all types of grounds maintenance Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property maintenance or similar type of work Ability to work in various types of inclement weather and cross environment elevations Ability to bend, squat, reach, kneel and climb Knowledge of the appropriate use of ladders, tools, outdoor maintenance equipment and other general tools and equipment Satisfactory background check as required by the State of MN and Housing Regulations Strong working knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing areas Valid Minnesota State Boilers License – (with approval, may be approved to obtaining within 90 days of hire) Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance Ability to work rotating on-call schedules Ability to perform essential mathematical functions for material & project calculations Ability to independently lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 50 pounds or greater Skills: Professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask Strong problem-solving skills Mechanically inclined Ability to follow directions, work independently and with a team Demonstrated organizational skills Strong customer service and communication skills Basic computer skills (E-mail, Word, Internet explorer) Compensation $26.00-$29.00 per hour (DOE) plus a generous benefit package All are welcome and encouraged to apply.
