Job Description Job Description Assistant Dental Practice Manager – Prosthodontic Practice Location: North Andover, MA Compensation: $55,000–$62,000 annually based on experience Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Benefits: Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, holidays, and continuing education opportunities About the Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Dental Practice Manager to join our North Andover prosthodontic practice. This role supports the Practice Manager and clinical leadership team in overseeing the daily operations of a high-quality specialty dental office. The ideal candidate has prior dental front office experience and a strong understanding of treatment coordination, scheduling, and insurance processes. Experience in a prosthodontic or specialty dental environment is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Support the Practice Manager in overseeing front office operations and administrative functions Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and recall systems Present treatment plans, review financial estimates, and coordinate payment arrangements Verify and process insurance eligibility, pre-authorizations, and claims follow-up Assist with training and mentoring front office staff to ensure consistency and accuracy Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant Collaborate with doctors, assistants, and lab partners to coordinate complex prosthodontic and restorative cases Monitor daily schedules, patient flow, and KPIs to ensure smooth operations Handle patient inquiries and concerns with a high level of customer service and professionalism Qualifications & Skills Minimum 3 years of dental office experience, including prior leadership or treatment coordination responsibilities Strong understanding of dental terminology, insurance, and treatment presentation Excellent communication, leadership, and multitasking skills Knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus Organized and proactive with a commitment to exceptional patient care and operational excellence Why Join Us This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership-support role within a respected prosthodontic practice that values teamwork, growth, and quality care.
