Job Description Job Description Peoplelink Staffing has proudly partnered with Fairfax County in a collaborative effort to enhance our community's cleanliness and sustainability. We are currently seeking dedicated Seasonal Maintenance Workers to join our team in Fairfax, VA (22030). As a Seasonal Maintenance Worker, you will carry out a range of field and operational duties associated with fall and winter conditions. These may include tasks such as leaf and debris removal, general cleaning, and snow clearing. Seasonal Maintenance Worker Job Summary: 6:30am-3pm Monday-Friday $19.82/hour Working for up to 30 hours a week Work volume can increase rapidly due to weather related events November-April (or until no longer needed to support operations) Seasonal Maintenance Worker Duties: Assist with routine maintenance of stormwater infrastructure including cleaning, debris removal and minor repairs Support field crews during inspections and maintenance operations Respond to citizen requests Operate hand tools, power tools and light equipment safely and efficiently Follow all safety protocols and operating procedures Assist in preparing for and responding to weather related events such as snow, flooding and storms Seasonal Maintenance Worker Qualifications: US Citizenship is required Ability to perform physical labor in various outdoor weather conditions Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, materials and safety practices Reliable transportation to and from worksite Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to extend or work irregular hours during emergency weather activations to provide snow and ice removal at county owned facilities, walkways and trails. Why Peoplelink?
