WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Grounds Technician on this team, you are skilled at handling maintenance requests or assigned rounds and handling any grounds area repairs, such as cleaning roofs and commercial building grounds, inspecting of properties, power washing and more. You must also conduct minor repairs and preserve the general quality of a facility. Your duties include conducting routine grounds checks, identifying building maintenance needs and reporting them to our Tech Support Coordinators and to Property Managers for follow on maintenance care. Some of your typical daily duties include: Keep walks clean. Police roof and grounds areas. Inspect properties with a checklist. Empty outdoor trash receptacles. Exterior light checks/bulb replacement. Tidy dumpster areas. Clean parking lot areas and drains. Power wash designated areas. Vacancy inspection and clean-up. Interior ballast replacement. Thermostat checks. Mechanical room checks. Paint outdoor fixtures. Replace ceiling tiles. Requisition & purchase materials. Communicate site issues with Tech Support Coordinator(s) and Account/Property Managers. WHAT YOU’LL BRING A positive attitude and work ethic. Customer relation skills: Kind, respectful, helpful always. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Have a valid driver’s license and be insurable in order to operate assigned company vehicle. Use an iPhone device to receive and send work order information. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
