Field Services Engineer

Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Vibration Test Equipment Location: Shepreth, Hertfordshire Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent VHR is recruiting a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading provider of Vibration Test Equipment Systems. This role offers the chance to work on technically advanced equipment across the UK and internationally, supporting customers in a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair Vibration Test Equipment at customer sites Perform preventive maintenance in line with technical procedures Diagnose and resolve technical faults in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems Collaborate with engineering and customer service teams to complete tasks on time Travel across the UK and internationally, sometimes at short notice Follow all health and safety guidelines while on-site Carry out other tasks as required to support operational needs Requirements: NVQ Level 2/BTEC or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering HNC and experience with vibration testing is an advantage Experience in maintenance of industrial systems Confident with industrial electronics, 3-phase systems, and high-voltage/current environments Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently Full UK driving license and valid passport What’s Offered: Competitive salary International travel opportunities Full training and ongoing development Pension scheme Health and wellness benefits
