Job Description Infosys Ltd. in France is seeking a Consultant SAP SCM Principal for its Paris office, primarily for a longstanding client in the automotive industry. Context & Activities Infosys teams are multidisciplinary (multi-technologies, functional and technical domains), global (local and offshore), and multicultural. You will work exclusively in an international context, mainly in English, but also with a strong French component due to the local and cultural context of our clients. The IT teams are organized by functional domain, and our activities range from operational consulting, needs definition, development, to application support. This client has been a partner for several years, mainly in the automotive industry, with a recent renewal of this partnership for at least three more years. The project is primarily on ECC, but you will have the opportunity to be the key person for the S/4HANA rollout once authorized. Your responsibilities will include: Understanding our client's business to propose the most suitable solutions Actively participating in various project deliverable phases Planning and monitoring the implementation activities Leveraging your knowledge of flows and processes Being the point of contact among stakeholders, both external and internal Adapting to different contexts and constraints (technical, budget, deadlines) Managing client and colleague relationships, especially in offshore contexts Staying updated on SAP technical advances and proposing them to clients Leading efforts in designing, developing, and deploying solutions Playing a central role in your technological area, gathering requirements through workshops, collaborating with clients and other teams, defining problems, and recommending solutions or best practices Contributing to testing and validation of delivered solutions You will report to the project manager and be responsible for your scope commitments and team supervision. You will also participate in preparing responses to tenders and oral presentations, mainly in English, to showcase Infosys solutions to clients. Additionally, you will contribute to developing the SAP Practice in France by mentoring less experienced colleagues and participating in recruitment processes. Your French reporting manager will support your project assignment, SAP skill development, and career progression. Your Profile Skills & Experience Confirmed professional experience as a SAP Consultant within a solutions consulting firm Participation in multiple SAP SCM implementations, focusing on production management and planning processes Functional and technical knowledge of SAP PP, with integration with SAP MM and SD modules, including best practices, process configuration, MRP calculations, vendor planning, etc. Ability to conduct workshops for solution design and fit-gap analysis Experience in deploying SAP core models and translating business requirements into system specifications Knowledge of industry sectors such as Retail, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, High Tech, Energy/Utilities, Pharmaceuticals Fluent in French and English (B2 level or higher), both oral and written Higher education degree (Master, Bac5) in IT, sciences, commerce, or related fields Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
