Staff Data Engineer

Role: Staff Data Engineer Length: 6 months (potential for extension) Location: Downtown Toronto (1 day onsite) Your New Company Join a national leader in retail and digital transformation, where data is central to driving customer experience, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. You’ll be part of a high-performing data engineering team focused on building scalable, reliable, and modern data infrastructure across the enterprise. Your New Role As a Staff Data Engineer , you will lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade data pipelines and BI infrastructure. You’ll work across teams to architect robust ETL/ELT workflows, enable high-quality reporting, and ensure data integrity across platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide technical strategy, mentor engineers, and drive best practices in data engineering.
