Greenhouse Fabrication and Installer - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity: • Job Title: Greenhouse Fabrication and Installer • Pay Rate Range: $24.00-$28.00/Hour • Location: Farmington, MN • Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM • Position Type: Temp to Hire Requirements and Qualifications: 1. High School education or Equivalent. 2. Proficiency with hand and power tools. 3. Experience in fabrication and/or construction. 4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. 5. Ability to complete Tape Measure Test 6. Valid, unrestricted driver’s license. 7. Comfortable working at heights. 8. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. 9. Be able to stoop, bend, and twist. Push, pull, lift up to 45lbs. with assistance. Preferred: 10. 1 year of building experience. 11. 3 years of experience in metal/glass fabrication (may lead to higher pay). 12. Aluminum Welding Experience is a significant plus. 13. Forklift experience is a plus but willing to train. 14. Strong communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Fabricate greenhouse components in the shop. 2. Travel (Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend stays) to various customer sites to install greenhouses. 3. Collaborate with crews and subcontractors on commercial projects. 4. Follow project schedules and ensure on-time completion. 5. Read and interpret blueprints to execute installation plans. 6. Safely and effectively use hand and power tools (e.g., drills, hammers, saws). 7. Perform specialized tasks such as welding. 8. Will have to be comfortable spending weeks at a time in close proximity to the team.
