Travel MRI Tech - $2,397 per week in Englewood, CO

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current MRI Technologist license Certifications: ARRT certification preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in MRI Description: This travel position is for an MRI Technologist. The working hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The schedule includes working on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The unit has 2 to 4 MRI scanners available. It is part of a 400-bed facility. The MRI department has 5 to 10 full-time staff members. Typical staffing includes 1 charge tech and 2 to 3 MRI techs per day. Patient ratios are generally 1 to 1. The primary equipment used includes a GE Artist 1.5T scanner and a 3T Siemens Tim Trio. Outpatient facilities utilize a 3T GE GEM and a 1.5T GE Signa. The EMR system in use is Meditech, along with Centricity. Common procedures in the unit include neuro imaging, anesthesia, and research studies. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to multitask effectively. Schedule options may allow for either 3 twelve-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts. Holidays require working 1 to 2 shifts per year with occasional on-call responsibilities. A new GE scanner with advanced features has been recently acquired. An ultrasound ablation machine is expected to be available this summer. The unit occasionally performs laser ablations as well. This is a competitive opportunity for skilled MRI technologists.
