HGV Class 2 Driver – Part Time People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, flexible part-time hours, and genuine opportunities to progress with a respected logistics business. Shifts: • Part-time between Monday and Friday • Start times between 06:00 and 16:00 Rates of Pay: • £15.29 per hour Benefits: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing and flexible part-time work • Weekly pay • Immediate starts available • Full training and support provided Day-to-Day Duties: • Operate and drive HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently • Complete local deliveries and collections as required • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensure all cargo is safely and securely loaded • Adhere to UK traffic laws and safety regulations • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management • No heavy lifting required Essential Skills: • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • Minimum six months' experience driving Category C vehicles • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements) • Good level of spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and reliability • Good understanding of road transport legislation • Effective communication and teamwork skills Desirable Experience: • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles • Multi-drop experience beneficial Training Provided: • Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you're ready to take on this exciting part-time HGV Class 2 Driver opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
